Durga Puja 2020 - Dates and Time in Kolkata
Durga Puja is a major festival of Hinduism, which is predominantly celebrated in the eastern states of India: West Bengal, Assam, Tripura, Odisha, and Bihar. This festival is the celebration of Triumph of Goddess Durga over demon Mahishasura.
Traditionally this festival is held for 10 days, starting with the Mahalaya and ending with Goddess Durga's Victory on Vijayadashami. But Last 5 five are are the most significant ones, which are Shasthi (ষষ্ঠী), Saptami (সপ্তমী), Ashtami (অষ্টমী), Navami (নভমী), and Dashami (বিজয়া দশমী).
